As part of the supporting scientific research and emphasizing the pivotal role of science in the country's development, the Egypt Center for Research and Regenerative Medicine, in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, signed an implementation agreement Egyptian Genome project in March 2021. This project aims to position Egypt at the forefront of personalized medicine and gene therapy. This can only be achieved through the initiation of the national project to study the reference human genome and provide advanced treatments for Egyptians.
